Who is Skyn?
......... SkYn is five Neanderthals who are fed up with playing in cover bands for drunken ingrates. Originally five talented and experienced musicians, the guys found themselves congregating in various garages for high volume jam sessions and collaborating on new rock tunes that reflect intelligence and sensitivity (and a little political awareness) but above all, songs that ROCK. This futile and childish attempt at the impossible has caused depression and paranoia among the band members but they doggedly refused to quit playing. The resulting songs have caused a full-scale riot when played in public and were recorded in a Thursday evening jam session at Lone Wolf Studios in Elkins, WV. SkYn has spent the past year jamming and playing occasional shows, brawling with the public, drinking lots of Guinness, getting root canals, groceries and divorces, and yes, writing some blistering new material. Look for SkYn to shake things up in 2003 if it ever quits fuckin snowing.
